Koji Kinutani Tenku Art Museum
An interactive style museum located on the 27th floor of Umeda Sky Building, one of the Umeda landmarks of Osaka, with an interesting innovative design of two connected 40-story buildings. Visitors can enjoy the colorful artworks of Koji Kinutani, a leading painter of fresco paintings in Japan who was awarded the Order of Culture in 2021. The museum is packed with interactive contents just like theme park attractions; including amazing 3D images where visitors can ‘jump into the picture’ as well as VR images to feel ‘connected with the painter’ as the painter himself gives a tour around the museum and his studio. You do not have to be an art afficionado to be able to enjoy the world of art.
The Tenku Café in the museum offers relaxing coffee time to immerse yourself in the afterglow of art appreciation, overlooking the town facing Osaka Bay.
